This machine is specially designed for checking disk type components which have a central bore. This machine is based on induced magnetization. It covers the entire part in only two shots, one each for the two surfaces. The induced magnetization produces a toroidal magnetic field in the part which detects all the circumferential and transverse flaws. Radial and logitudinal flaws are detected by passing a copper central conducter carrying very igh current through the hole. All the operations are automatic and shot sequencing is also automatic. User just has to place the part in the machine and press the mag button.
